About Lokr

A corkboard for the place you’re standing in. Say the thing you can’t say under your own name.

Notes belong to a place, not a profile.

Everything disappears after a day.

Early Android beta, built in India.

What Lokr is

Lokr is an anonymous app of sticky notes pinned to where you are. Notes belong to a place, never to a profile, and they disappear after a day. Your hostel rant doesn’t follow you into a placement interview.

What we believe

Disappearing is the feature.: Nothing here is meant to last.
Place over people.: No usernames, no followers, no profiles to stalk.
Honest privacy.: We only claim what the system actually does. See the privacy policy.
Safe by default.: Contact info and abuse are filtered before anything posts. See moderation.

Where we are

Lokr is an early Android beta built in India, starting with campuses. The Nearby board is live; College and Work boards are next.
